B-BBEE is codified law: the Codes of Good Practice are legislation, and reading, interpreting, and applying them is legal work. It is one of SA's most underrated LLB-adjacent niches: every medium and large business needs a scorecard, demand is structural, and specialists build advisory careers or move into transformation and ESG roles in corporates.
Using the Generic Codes, draft a half-page explanation for a fictional 60-employee manufacturing client of which scorecard elements are priority elements, what the discounting principle means for their level, and the first two interventions you would recommend.
