About this role
A senior advisory role in Deloitte's M&A Tax practice, based in Midrand. The role advised on complex transactions, group reorganisations, unbundlings, BEE transactions, and tax-efficient acquisitions and disposals, including financial modelling, due diligence reviews, and managing multi-disciplinary deal teams. The qualifying route was explicitly CA(SA), admitted attorney, or a Master's/Higher Diploma in Taxation, making this one of the more senior alternative-legal destinations for an experienced admitted attorney. It is a credible destination for an admitted attorney who spent their PQE years in corporate/tax practice and wants Big Four scale, deal volume, and advisory-firm career progression rather than traditional partnership track.
