About this role
An in-house legal role at TotalEnergies Marketing South Africa. The advisor structures, negotiates and drafts or reviews high-value commercial contracts, advises on how to structure commercial transactions and on operational, financial, strategic and reputational issues, supports business projects, manages litigation and commercial matters handled by external attorneys in South Africa and neighbouring countries, runs in-house training on competition, environmental, health and safety and contract law, and upskills interns each year. A stated aim is to cut legal spend by doing more of the work in-house.
