About this role
A hands-on specialist role in Sygnia's group compliance team. The specialist builds and runs the risk-based FICA Compliance Monitoring Plan, tests customer due diligence, beneficial ownership, transaction monitoring, sanctions screening and regulatory reporting controls, keeps review-ready workpapers, reports control deficiencies with owners and deadlines, tracks remediation to closure, and trains staff on AML, CFT and CPF. The posting also asks the holder to carry the money laundering reporting officer responsibilities for the group. Overall accountability stays with the money laundering compliance officer and Head of Compliance.
