About this role

A deal-focused role in JUMO's small legal team, reporting to the Head of Legal // Commercial. JUMO builds the technology that helps banks and mobile network operators offer savings and loans in emerging markets. The counsel leads deals with mobile network operators, banks and funders from first term sheet to signature, drafts and negotiates partnership, platform, banking-as-a-service and funding agreements, builds templates and playbooks, and works out what local law means for new-market launches, bringing in external counsel where it helps. Remote-first, and you must be based in South Africa. The listing states no closing date.
