The South African legal recruitment process rewards timing, positioning, firm knowledge, commercial awareness, and preparation under pressure. Many capable students only discover that once they have already missed key application windows.
This programme closes that gap. It is designed to give serious candidates the structure, context, and accountability that the market quietly expects but rarely explains.
A realistic shortlist of firms and pathways aligned to your year of study, timeline, and professional goals.
Sharper CV, motivation letter thinking, LinkedIn positioning, and Leaply readiness for the SA market.
A practical framework for understanding South African business developments and speaking about them with confidence.
A guided practical exercise where candidates read a matter pack, draft a realistic work product, and receive evidence-led feedback on judgement, writing, and pathway fit.
Exposure to critical-reasoning, SJT, verbal, and numerical reasoning techniques before real employer assessments arrive.
Structured preparation for behavioural, commercial, and firm-specific interview questions.
A 90-day action plan that turns advice into applications, deadlines, preparation, and follow-through.
The curriculum is built around the actual mechanics of South African legal recruitment, not generic graduate advice. Each week ends with a practical deliverable.
Week 1
How South African legal recruitment works, where adjacent legal routes sit, and what your current profile shows.

Personal pathway diagnostic and target route map

Weekly deliverable
90-day action plan and personal commitment plan
Every selected candidate receives private simulation access during the programme. They read a realistic matter pack, complete a timed legal work product, and receive a directional evidence profile. LexLaunch then reviews the work before it becomes part of the candidate's readiness profile.
The purpose is simple: many strong candidates have never had a chance to show how they think in a legal-work setting. The simulation creates that evidence in a structured, supportive way.
Each participant receives a unique access route or PIN for the simulation workspace.
Timed written outputs test judgement, structure, and practical reasoning, with grace-time tracked.
The auto report is reviewed before being used for positioning, interview prep, and the final action plan.
Law students and graduates, including BA Law, BCom Law, and LLB candidates targeting vacation work, articles, or adjacent legal pathways
Candidates who have ability but need clearer strategy, stronger positioning, and market context
Applicants willing to prepare properly instead of relying on generic advice or guesswork
Passive applicants looking for motivation without implementation
Candidates unwilling to complete weekly assignments and follow-through work
Anyone seeking a shortcut rather than serious positioning in a competitive market
This intake is intentionally limited. The value is in the work, the feedback, the discussion, and the accountability. We are not looking for passive attendance.
Participant feedback and assessed outputs are used to sharpen each candidate's action plan. Participants who meet attendance and submission requirements can receive a certificate of completion, but the real objective is stronger market readiness and a clearer route into action.
Attend all six live sessions and communicate early if an issue arises.
Complete weekly preparation and submit assignments on time.
Participate actively in discussion, peer review, and workshop exercises.
Approach the programme as implementation work, not passive content consumption.
Provide honest end-of-intake feedback to strengthen the programme experience.
The programme remains a selective pathway for candidates who need structured positioning, market clarity, commercial awareness, and a practical route into action.
Future cohort applications will open soon. If you would like to be notified or ask about the next intake, email hello@lexlaunch.co.za and we will point you to the right next step when details are ready.
