About this role

Ekco is a European cloud and managed security services provider (1,000+ staff across the UK, Ireland, Benelux, South Africa, and Malaysia) hiring into its Governance, Risk & Compliance team in Cape Town. The role starts with one clear project: building a single, structured source of truth for Ekco's customer contracts, using AI-assisted review to surface renewal and notice dates, liability caps, security/audit obligations, and data-sovereignty terms. From there it broadens into records of processing activities and data mapping, AI-enabled legal workflows, and eventually a generalist in-house remit covering contracting, employment matters, international expansion, M&A support, disputes, and company secretarial work.
